PUBLIC NOTICE:  The Mifflin County Emergency Rental Assistance Program has run out of funding and is now closed. If you have an eviction notice or utility shut off notice, please call Mifflin Juniata Human Services at 717-447-5121 and leave a message to be screened for one of our other programs.

PRIORITIZATION POLICY:  Due to limited funding availability, applications for the Emergence Rental Assistance Program will be accepted and processed on a Priority basis as follows:

  • The income of the household does not exceed 50 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI) per their household size OR
  • One or more individuals within the household are unemployed as of the date of the application for assistance and have not been employed for the 90-day period preceding such date.
  • Household has provided documentation that they are facing eviction or utility shut off.
